GEWES cardan shafts withstand the usually rough environmental conditions around your crane and transport systems such as extreme temperature fluctuations, humidity and peak loads.

Heavy-load cranes for smelting works and roller plants such as hot-metal ladle, furnace, foundry and slab transport cranes, cranes for maritime and harbour applications, lifting and running-gear drives for material handling systems in open-pit mining as well as ship lifting systems pose extreme requirements regarding availability, system reliability and long service life.

This is achieved by consistent use of excellent material quality, customer-specific corrosion protection and the application-specific design of cardan shafts for long service life and demanding load conditions. Special crane flange versions with clamping-sleeve screw connections are part of the GEWES delivery range.
